How does a Psychologist work?

Psychologists use the Psychological Interwiew as a privileged instrument for advice, diagnosis and treatment.

A Psychotherapist also deals with the treatment of psychological disorders (psychopathology) of a wide range of seriousness. A Systemic-Relational Psychotherapist looks at the person always in relationship with his / her context (family and social background). The person suffering (the Symptom) is seen as an expression of a deseasing context: the patient isn’t the only one who suffers but him/ herself is the expression of a symptom of the disfunctional system or context.

The Systemic Psychotherapist faces the discomfort of patients, taking into account the meaning that symptoms express in the dinamic’s relationship.
